- Load capacity 165 lbs when evenly distributed. Precisely made clamps mount to side rails securely.
- Easy installation. Each mounting tower is lockable. The package comes with a pair of keys.
Kayak Rack:
- BrightLines double folding kayak racks are made of heavy-duty aluminum with a Max. load of 150 lbs. Please check your crossbars weight capacity for compatibility.
- The upright arm can be locked at any position from flat to 90 degrees. The cradles that hold kayaks can also slide to accommodate different sizes of Kayaks.
- Compared with most U-shape tube kayak holders which come with two pieces, BrightLines kayak rack cradles have a unique one piece design with rubber coated pads which protect kayaks from scratching and moving around. The racks come pre-assembled and ready to use. The Upright Arm tubes are wrapped with thick foam for kayak protection. The cradles have cutouts at the two ends to hold the straps from slipping, giving extra security to kayaks.
- Each rack comes with two mounting brackets to mount to each crossbar, preventing the rack from rocking. Mounting brackets can fit square and round crossbars. Two pair of straps are also included.
- Please note: Carrying larger items like a Canoe/Kayak will cause extra wind drag that will add additional pressure on both the item and the crossbars. Please use tensioning rope to secure the bow and stern of your item to your vehicle. Tensioning rope not included with kayak rack.

A pair of kayak racks and 2 mounting brackets, 4 screws, 4 nuts and 2 straps. 2 straps are used to secure kayak/canoe to the kayak racks. You still need extra long straps to secure both front and rear of your kayak/canoe to your vehicle which are NOT included.

30 Day Return Window
- Returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of delivery date. All sales are FINAL after 30 days.
- All returns and exchanges must be authorized first. Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Any return that does not include an RMA number, will be refused and sent back.
- Once the RMA number has been issued, the return package must be received within 30 day of the delivery date. After the 30 day return window, there will be a 10% deduction fee for every 2 weeks the return is late. No refunds after 60 days of order payment date.
- Returns must be in the original packaging, new condition, non-altered, well packed and include all items, manuals and accessories originally shipped with the package.
- If the return item is damaged, scratched, altered, dirty, missing hardware, or in any other form where our product was not properly handled, customer’s will only be eligible for an up-to 50% refund.
Shipping Returns
We will be responsible for return shipping if the item was shipped incorrect or defective. If this is the case, a pre-paid RS label will be provided.
If the return is NOT due to our error, the following applies:
- Customers will be responsible for the return shipping.
- Our discounted RS labels may be offered per customer's requests and expense. In addition to the initial shipping fee, the cost of RS label will be deducted from the refund.
- We will not reimburse customers for any shipping receipts purchased through outside vendors.
- The return shipping carrier must have a valid tracking number (we are not responsible for returns lost by shipping carriers).
- Initial shipping and handling charges will NOT be refunded if any.
- Customers are also responsible for shipping cost both ways on refused or returned undeliverable items.
Refund
After the return is received, please allow 7 business days for us to issue a refund. We reserve the right to inspect the item being shipped back. Any RMA return found not to be defective when inspected, would incur a return shipping charge/restocking fee. No refunds in any situations after 60 days of order payment date.
A refund can only be sent to the original payment method. If a customer no longer has access to that payment method, then they will need to contact the bank or agency for the original payment method to claim the funds after the refund is sent.
